Pat Kinsella earned his BFA in printmaking at Tyler School of Art in Philadelphia, PA and is currently pursuing a career as a freelance illustrator.  In his second solo show in less than a year, Kinsella continues to pursue his exploration of combining traditional printmaking techniques with digital mediums. 

In his latest series, Kinsella creates an entertaining experience that providing the audience with layers of understanding.  His straightforward imagery, combined with a bit of the weird, creates a dreamlike confusion that borders on surrealism. Many of his works are created for the shear joy of combining arbitrary imagery.  Even so, the perceived messages behind his work pervade a very specific purpose- if only by happy accident. Kinsella at no point takes himself too seriously …" it’s about having fun and enjoying the hot air."
