Melcher’s new work features many popular Philadelphia area hangouts and the colorful characters that populate them. Michele’s watercolor, pen and ink illustrations depict these familiar watering holes and landmarks that have become popular "stomping grounds" over the years.  Melcher captures in her modern style the rejuvination of the city's old buildings where the hip now come out to play.

Michele Melcher attended Bucks County Community College where she studied fine art and graphic design. In 1997 she received her Bachelors of Fine Art in Illustration from the University of the Arts. Currently Michele works from her studio in suburban Philadelphia where she plans to take over the world one illustration at a time.
